I have always been thankful to be born and raised in the United States. I am an Arizona native and thankful for the freedoms I get to have!

Marsha became a pharmacist years ago. They are both awesome!

My nephew Logan and daughter Hillary are cousins.

It was such a neat experience to attend the graduation. I was not able to get off work when my sister in law Marsha graduated. Both Daniel and Marsha graduated from Midwestern University. I felt very strongly that our dad was there. I know he is very pleased with his oldest son.

Afterwards we went to their home for Nacho's and a celebration cake. Marsha rented a huge blown up water slide that the kids had fun on, and the adults. It is nice to be with family!!

Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup softened butter
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 or 2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour

Cream together softened butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix well. Add oatmeal, mix. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet or roll into ball and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 11 minutes.

After girls camp...

I picked up the girls around 4 pm at the church building where all the girls were when arriving home from camp. It was very hot and the girls got some sun. I felt really bad for Kallee for her sweet face had scabs from her sunburn and the top of her head. Both girls had sunscreen. Kallee said she used hers, but it doesn't look like it. Maybe it would of been worse. I almost cried for her when I saw her. I love my daughters!!! Anyways I asked if we can go get yogurt at Mesa Frozen Yogurt. Kymber wanted to, but Kallee didn't. I told her I wanted to take her for her birthday was yesterday. It was nice. The girls had fun and I'm happy for them!!!
