Valentine’s Day Table Runner

Flowers and hearts Valentine’s Fabric.

Fabric from Hobby Lobby as well as the rolling pin. The red rooster I bought in Pawhuska, Oklahoma at the Pioneer Woman Mercantile. The pink salt and pepper shakers I bought from an antique store.

Christmas Quilted Table Runner

I just love how my Table Runner turned out.

The top fabric I bought at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas Fabric months before Christmas. I couldn’t resist buying the beautiful fabric.

The bottom fabric was also from Hobby Lobby. I like polka dots and thought it would work great in my Christmas runner. I can also use it for Valentines Day decor.

I used pink thread to give a pop of color.

I used a ink pen that erases with an iron and a quilt ruler to mark lines to sew the fabric together. After sewing the squares I trimmed the three layers.

This bright red fabric was perfect to make the binding.

I use quilting fabric clips to hold my fabric in place.

The last part is tedious and time consuming. I hand sewed the binding on the bottom side.

Table Runner

This table runner is reversible and I absolutely love it.

My sister Elaine and I made this. My sister did the majority of the work. I enjoy using it on my table. I do take it off to eat meals, even though this is machine washable. I prefer the pink side up but either way it is pretty.
