Easter Banners

I used a bunny template I printed from Pinterest and traced it onto corrugated paper (easier to do tracing with). I then traced bunnies onto my scrapbook paper and cut each one out.

The bunny tails I used a circle punch and a permanent glue stick. I saw a lot of tutorials of bunny banners where pompoms were used as the tail. I thought paper would be nice to use and easier to store for next year.

For the bird banner I used one of my bird punches. So much easier than cutting out the bunnies. I used left over scrapbook paper.

I used a hole punch on the bunnies and birds and put string through the animals to hang up.

It’s fun to add color and cuteness to your home decor.

Happy Easter of 2014

I love the Savior, Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for what he did for me.

I have plastic eggs and candy for the kids.
We'll have a nice dinner. Yet the main reason for Easter
is not to hide eggs and see what candy you can get.

When the Savior died he fulfilled His mission.
He suffered and died for all of us.
He was resurrected and He lives.

So eggs are a way to think about new life.
A chicken hatching out of her egg.
A cute little bunny entering this world.
Lots of pretty flowers are blooming everywhere.

Our family will go to church like we do each week.
Yet on Easter the messages will be all about Jesus Christ.
Most of our household participates in the choir
so we'll sing a beautiful song about the Savior.

I hope you all have a great Easter this year and remember why we have Easter. To celebrate the life of our Redeemer, Jesus the Christ.

Easter Dresses

Kallee on Easter Sunday in her new dress and sweater that she wore under her dress since it ties in the back.

My sweet Kendree in her ballerina dress. She was so thrilled!

Sadly Kindsey's dress didn't fit her. I'm going to ask someone who sews to help me out with hers so she can wear it. So she wore a pink dress with a hot pink shirt over it.

One more of Kallee to show the bow in the back.
