Marbled Cake

 I made a pink marbled cake. 

I added four drops of color.

I used a toothpick to swirl the pink color around.

This is really easy to do and it's nice to have a pretty cake.

Spice Cake

1 cup softened butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Beat butter, sugar and eggs together. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I use butter rather than shortening that my grandma used.
