Saturday

Today it was our turn along with other ward members to clean the church building. Before we left I wanted to take a picture of the twins and Kendree was the only one who let me take a picture of her. Kindsey, Kendree and Kallee did such a great job and worked hard.

We love it when the Cannon's come for a visit. I love hanging out with my sister and her family. The park pictures were taken after we played disc golf. I played for the first time in my life and I thought it was super fun. I almost hit my sister once and I did hit Joe. Everyone was nice. Jeff let me use his discs. The second was at the pool and their hotel. It was nice to swim and be in the water. We all had a great time.

The Harris boy found a horny toad and I asked him if I could get a picture of it and he put it up to his face. All the kids had fun finding creatures in the woods.

On the way home it rained hard a few times. It was neat when it wasn't raining and we realized we were driving through clouds.

It was a great a perfect weekend. The spot was awesome. So beautiful and sweet. It makes you want to bottle it up and take it home with you to the valley. I am in a great ward with great people. It is always great getting to know more ward members and I had great conversations while there. It rained during the night and I enjoyed that. It was a very comfortable camping trip. I loved that it wasn't hot and since it rained the day before it wasn't dry and dusty. It is always nice to come home and take a hot shower and at night sleep in a comfy bed, yet there is something great about camping in the woods.

Camping

Sometimes I think about all the work that has to be done just to camp one night. You have to have shelter, bedding, food, a way to cook your food and the list goes on.

Yet it is worth it! I love to be in the woods and feel the breeze through the trees, the wonderful smells and being in nature. Camping is fun when you are prepared. The supplies you bring help a great deal.

Today I am going with a friend and her sisters to a church campout. We are meeting at a spot at potato lake. I am excited to go and glad to get to know more members in my church.

My tent is easy to set up and it is the perfect size. I made a tin foil dinner last night and put in in the freezer. I have plenty of snacks including red vines.

So I am off soon. I plan on taking pictures.... making memories!
