Neighborhood Quilt

My finished quilt on a full bed.

The back of the quilt is beautiful.

Hand sewing the binding.

Top of the quilt. I was so happy it was all sewed together. Lots of love put into this (many hours of sewing)!

I accidentally sewed two rows together the wrong way.

This fat quarter bundle I bought at the 2019 Houston, Texas Quilt Festival. I also bought this pattern. I look forward to going again. For the sashing, boarder, binding and backing material I ordered the matching Connecting Threads fabric online.

This quilt has so many pieces. The houses had 6 pieces to sew together and the trees 9 pieces. The finished product makes it all worth it.

This neighborhood quilt is my second quilt. My sister Elaine is a master quilter. She taught me how to quilt. She is a really good teacher. I love seeing all the quilts she has made when I visit her in Texas.
